Samsung Q3 sales showed increased profits

Samsung Mobiles the second largest mobile manufacturer has made public its quarter 3rd results. Seems company is able to maintain the kings position even in accounting records. Comparing the result of Samsung with the recently disclosed LG's Q3 results, Samsung has simply stand out the crowd. LG on the other hand has gone under some real dark times with 'LOSS' all over the accounts.Talking about the figures, the sales have been accelerated by 12 % and amounts to $US 35.8 billion. The net profit has shown a tremendous hike by 17 percent which will amount to $ 4 billion. Unlike LG, Samsung mobile section was the best performer among all the Samsung businesses. Mobiles section of Samsung has given the company a total sales of 9.9 billion dollars which has equaled a profit of $ 1 Billion, applauding performance Samsung!! considering the figures of past 3 months together, the company has sold a total of 71.4 million mobile phones. This is equal to a market share of 22% which is certainly higher then 20.8 % of 2009 Q3, since then the company has managed to pull out its sales to 60.8 million mobile phones. The company has also stretched up its selling price by 14 percent since the previous quarter. The biggest news is yet to come, the share of smartphones among all of the shipped Samsung mobiles is drastically increased to 11 percent which was just 2 percent in the Q3 of 2009.If the major reason behind this outstanding performance is to be analysed, what justifies it the most is none other then Samsung Galaxy S family with 17M sales and Samsung Wave with 2M.The company still believes that the smartphone competition will further intensify in the fourth quarter. But the company is certainly sure to perform even better in next quarter. The upcoming quarter will be blessed with three major launches of Samsung, Galaxy Tab tablet and Bada flagship, Wave II. These products are expected to create far more demand in the markets this quarter.
