The satellite TV series also gives you a peek into the man Seagal is on the inside when he's not fighting crime both real and fictitious. For one, there is Steven Seagal the acclaimed blues musician. Playing alongside some of the greatest blues legend of all time, like BB King, Bo Diddley and Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Steven Seagal has been paving his way into the blues scene for quite some time now. His latest release, Mojo Priest, was well accepted as one of the best blues albums to emerge in years.

As part of daily life, Seagal champions causes such as the environment, animal rights, children in need and HIV/AIDS efforts. He plans to film his next movie in New Orleans in an effort to bring the city back to its former glory after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.

The road leading up to the intricate human being that is today's Steven Seagal began in early adulthood when he became the first foreigner to operate an aikido dojo in Japan. He then brought his expertise back to the United States, where after owning a series of dojos, ended up as a Hollywood stunt coordinator. From there, it was only a matter of time before he started starring and releasing his own films, eventually gaining the title of action hero.

In addition to all of his other feats, Seagal has opened a business venture known as Seagal Enterprises. Some of the products on the market include Steven Seagal's Lighting Bolt, an energy drink, of which he says, "I have traveled the world creating this drink; there is none better that I know."
