Download Date Night Online
Date Night is just what we needed a romantic-action-comedy that's actually romantic, exciting and very funny. In other words, it's a really good movie. Yep, just what we needed, especially in the wake of the recent The Bounty Hunter and the upcoming Killers.
When Claire and Phil Foster, (Steve Carell and Tina Fey), go out to dinner at a high class Manhattan restaurant, they steal someone's reservation, when unable to get one of their own. This leads to a classic case of mistaken identity, involving the mob. The plot thickens and the fun increases as more twists are revealed.
Fey and Carell, both incredibly talented comedic actors, have genuine chemistry and are completely believable in all manner of scenes. James Franco and Mila Kunis steal the show in the few minutes they are on screen, with some truly hilarious dialogue.
Though he hasn't had the best track record with most critics, I've really liked several of Shawn Levi's films. They have a fun, energetic feeling, that's incredibly entertaining and vastly appealing.
One of the best scenes comes from a standout action sequence, which features an Audi and a taxi attached by the front. It's the kind of action scene that leaves you exhilarated, while grinning ear to ear. The funniest scene has to be a pole dance performed by Carell and Fey.
Though the scene of vomiting could have been removed, and some of the lines said during the out takes are actually funnier than the lines in the movie, these are all only minor flaws. Thoroughly enjoyable from beginning to end, Date Night is an incredibly good time at the movies.
