Compter les calories Vs La Pyramide alimentaire

I'm only two months after my diet healthy weight loss and horror I weighed my food and counting calories. I'm tired from my day around what I put into my mouth and the number of calories it has.

Actually, I'm afraid of calories. I am particularly afraid of those who have little or no nutritional value. The fat, sugar and simple carbohydrates. I am dismayed to see how this stuff in processed foods. Terrified, like the fast food industry is trying to put a mask on a hamburger safety by lettuce, tomatoes and onions. They add that above this huge blob of mayo-like sauce. I like the taste of a hamburger, too, but for the amount of saturated fat and simple carbs, I eat twice a healthier choice for less calories.

I think there should be a better way. I was counting calories and weighing food most of my life. I know how many calories there are in almost everything. So why am I so long to follow them? I do not have food to a prominent place in my life. I would like to be able to eat normally and not too much thought. I want to be able to trust that I can lose weight without worrying about a lot of calories. I think that in these difficult times in life, I will make wise food choices and not to worry.

The food pyramid shows the following parts of the food group per day:

Low fats and oils

dairy servings 3-5

servings 2-3 Vegetable

Seeds 6-11 servings

Fruit 2-4 servings

protein (meat, beans, nuts and fish) 2 -3 servings

8 glasses of water

It sounds like a pretty healthy way to eat for me ... But it is too boring? Is there anyone of us actually eat five servings of vegetables per day? I wonder if boredom is the food of the people, developed as a place of healthy eating and eventually consume much processed food? Manufactured to improve taste of these products and we are to pull back, again and again.

Healthy eating is far more complex than at first glance. We must decide whether the chips are part of the vegetable group or not, and this group has Cola and Snickers down under? Eyeing the bread freshly baked banana sitting at the bar, I wonder if I can count that as my 6-11 servings of grains? I can not help but wonder why chocolate and wine is far from being on the food pyramid, and when a PB & J seen as two grains, fruit and a protein? Nothing is cut and dried today.

They say it takes 21 days to develop a new routine and habit. My habit of counting calories, began when I was about twelve years. I had enough time to kiss this routine in the natural and normal in my life. I fear that many calories and I'm tired of counting them. I wonder if I possibly can learn and unlearn, to eat after the food pyramid of trust? What would you say?
