Bed bugs are reddish brown insect without wings. There body shape is oval and they are flat and round. You can also smell bed bugs. They have sweet, musty smell and you can easily smell them in your room if there is an infestation. Bed bugs always like to live near bedrooms. They don't just live in mattresses, but in carpet, wall sockets, and anything else they can crawl into. Sometime they are present under the dining room table.

If you want to find bed bugs in your bedroom, then first of all, check the mattress and change its position. After checking the mattress, check its edge lining and side tables. If you want to remove bed bugs from your house, use special bed bug spray.

Bed bugs are also present on clothes, bed covers, pillows etc, so always wash your clothes with hot water. You can also kill the bed bugs at freezing temperature since they cannot stand temperatures below freezing.

A final trick is to put your mattress out in the sun for a few hours. Bed bugs do not like extreme heat, and will leave your mattress.
