Work from Home, Ideas for Success
Work from Home, Ideas for Success

As an individual with the idea of creating my own online opportunities to allow me to work from home, I realize what a daunting task it seems for what I will call an outsider to the internet marketing world. I would like to take a moment to outline some ideas to help those looking to work from home a leg up by taking points from my own experience.

First of all let me back up and tell you a bit about me. Six months ago I was a supervisor for a electrical wire manufacturer, having devoted years to hard work and perseverance with the thought it would provide for me and my family. We the income was constant, but I was basically in jail as I would be called in at any time, literally worked 12 hours, sometimes 7 days a week for 3-4 months straight. Oh the money was great, but guess what, my wife and I were both unhappy as she said she felt like a widower as I was never there and if I was, well I was in bed or sitting in the recliner. At that point I decided enough is enough, I could have found another job, even though they are scarce in this economy. But aren't all jobs really the same? Well I looked online, researched the possibilities until I found the right fit for me and well here I am, setting my own schedule, and rekindling the marriage with my wife. And I should include my family in that, as my mom and my two sons also suffered in my absence. So today instead of getting ready to head in to a "job", I got up at 4:00am by my choice, will work for 2-3 hours, then plan on taking my wife to do a little last minute shopping before we head out on a cruise this weekend. There is no way I could have done these kind of things before!

So back to the focus of the article, I outline a few key points as you start out in your own endeavor to create your own wealth from home.

1. To be in internet marketing, you don't need to be an internet marketer. Let me explain, the new wave of internet marketing is so much different than the past, and well it is actually an advantage to not have those old mindsets and can be trained on the "right way" to start with.

2. Find the right fit for you. There are so many so called "opportunities" out there, truth is the odds are you will get scammed if you aren't careful. But imagine the paragraph above and being able to "be in control". It is worth the time required upfront. It would be the same research required if you started your own business. You infact are starting your own business, but without all the upfront costs required to start a typical business. A lot of this will still not make sense, but I offer free look at the possibilities just by following my lead ( see link below).

3. Have a goal, have a plan. Once you find that "fit". you don't pay your fee and start seeing results the next day. So you need to have a goal of where you want to be as well as a plan to get you there. I even add to that somewhat, "plan for failure" at the start. You can assure yourself that you will become overwhelmed, so you need to know the resources that will get your through those obstacles. With the right community, the resources are out there.

3. Play a game we used to play as kids called "Follow the Leader". I myself have a great sponsor/leader that walks me through step by step. Find yourself a leader and latch on to him. Success breeds success, think of it like your spouse. How many habits have the two of you picked up from each other. Scary huh? But true, surround yourself with the people you want to become.

4. Minds are like Parachutes, they only function when they are open. Be open, with the right community there is step by step training, and almost a plug and play mentality with the amount of detail in this training and marketing module. But regardless of the direction you take, keep a open mind and know this is a marathon, not a 100 yard sprint.

I hope some of these points help those considering this move to the online world. They are based on my own personal experiences from someone who has been in the industry less than 6 months.

Thank You for Your Time,

Doug Danley
