With all of the Fast Food Restaurants on every corner, it's hard to stay committed to a healthy lifestyle. But, it's because of pure laziness AND unawareness that brings on disease, inflammation and pain within our bodies.

Every living organism on the planet must consume other living organisms for it's life, at least that is how humans USED to live before we started cooking (killing) our wholefoods. So, here is a lost of the Top 10 foods that give you energy so that you can be start to feel GREAT:

1) SPINACH: An easily digestible protein that is super alkalizing and detoxifies the body. This is a very nutrient dense food. It's low in calories yet very high in vitamins, minerals and other phytonutrients. This vegetable can be juiced or mixed in with smoothies or shakes and you will not even notice it's there So, no more excuses if spinach is not your thing'.

2) CELERY: The Earth's #1 inexpensive healer that alkalizes the body because if it's high sodium content. Celery calms the nerve perhaps because of the high calcium content. It's good on kidneys and will help eliminate body's waste through the urine. Celery is also great for pain and inflammation. It can be eating raw in salads or juiced. If you juice it, be sure to keep the pulp and add it to soup or raw crackers.

7) BANANAS: Bananas are rich in vitamin B6 and they are a good source of fiber, vitamin C, magnesium and potassium. Lack of B6 in a diet can cause weakness, irritability and insomnia. You can do lots of things with bananas such as smoothies, pies, ice cream, and so much more.

8 ) AVOCADO: High in NATURAL fats so use sparingly. Half of an avocado a day should be enough for you. Avocados are good for brain function and lubrication of the joints. Avocados contain "oleic acid", a monounsaturated fat that may help lower cholesterol. Avocado is a good source of potassium, a mineral that helps regulate blood pressure.

9) CUCUMBER: These are great for hydration. Raw cucumber, when applied on the skin, can help reduce heat and inflammation. Cucumber contains silica, which is an important substance for good health and skin. The juice of this fruit is known to contain silica, which enhances skin tone and its texture.
