PITMAN ACADEMY OF SHORTHAND WRITERS : BANGALORE
INTRODUCTION
Present day office administration has undergone remarkable changes with the introduction of computers in all offices. Officers / Managers do not find time to dictate letters to the Stenographers. For lack of proper and sufficient Shorthand Masters, learning Stenography is becoming more and more difficult. The reality is that there is dearth of Stenographers.
Pitman Academy of Shorthand Writers, Bangalore is body interested in teaching Shorthand through E Mail. The following facilities are available:-
Beginners level Basics to advanced
Speed writing level 80 wpm to 200 wpm.
Languages :
a) English Pitman
b) Hindi System developed by Dr. Gopal Datt Bist, Retired Rajya Sabha Reporter, New Delhi.
c) Tamil Rao Bahadur Srinivasa Rao
Medium of instruction Hindi / English / Tamil
The Shorthand Master Mr.Mahadevan S has 35 years of experience teaching shorthand. He is qualified in 150 WPM English, 120 WPM in Tamil and 120 wpm in Hindi. In addition he is Typing Champion of 1983 recording 90 wpm.
Who can learn?
Any one who has normal command over English / Hindi / Tamil can learn.
The course is open to those who become members of the Academy by paying annual membership fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only).
All teaching is provided by E mail. Only text book the aspirant has to buy. All instructions are given through E mail.
On receipt of the application and processing, the applicant will be required to remit the subscription amount to the bank a/c of the Shorthand Master.
On acceptance of payment, Receipt and course instructions will be sent to the member through E mail.
Those who want to meet the Shorthand Master in person in Bangalore are welcome for discussion and finalization of the subscription.
During the currency of membership,
tutorial service is free.
Any material required by the applicant like, print of question papers CDs to be sent by courier / post at the request of the candidate will be extra.
As far as possible, all materials will be provided through E mail itself.
