Holland new car dealer believes 2011 Grand Cherokee will boost sales higher

Business is great! Chrysler sales have improved for sixth months in a row and that's enough to make your Holland new car dealer believe the rest of the year will follow suit. The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee left the gate at a fast pace and its popularity has boosted overall sales.

Customers of Holland, MI used cars may remember hearing about the new Jeep Grand Cherokee with the amazing Pentastar engine and lots of fun off-road settings. Apparently people who like to do that sort of thing, off-roading, that is, are not feeling guilty that their fuel economy isn't over 40 mpg and that they may leave a few exhaust fumes in the forest. Not that going green is a bad thing, it's just not something everyone is ready to do full-out.

Hoopla over a dope-phased work crew at the Michigan plant where the Grand Cherokee was built has mostly been forgotten. Maybe sales are brisk because buyers are hoping to find a forgotten stash inside the seats or under the flooring. (I kid.) The Grand Cherokee can certainly stand on its own, unlike some of those intoxicated workers. (Okay, enough with the jokes. I'm sure they've been settled comfortably in rehab since the company let them go.)

Chrysler did make a good financial decision when they decided to overhaul the Grand Cherokee and market it as a true off-road vehicle. Your Holland new car dealer has it in the showroom and would love to introduce you to all its amenities. The interior is quite cushy as well, with comfortable seats, a wonderful entertainment package and lots of little perks that make driving more pleasurable.

But if Chrysler wants to keep up especially in the SUV category it will have to stay on its game. Ford Motor also reported a large sales jump in September and credits SUV sales. Ford also did well with its Transit Connect, a cargo van aimed at small businesses like bakeries and florists.

Honda also has seen increased SUV sales this fall, up about 26 percent in September. Its MDX crossover was a top seller. But Chrysler still has the home field advantage for now and its price for the Jeep Grand Cherokee is reasonable. It also offers some systems that other brands don't.

Customers of Holland, MI used cars also can choose from a variety of pre-owned vehicles, including previous models of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, all at affordable prices. The variety of Chrysler vehicles, from luxury sedans to trucks and everything in between, is part of the reason customers have stayed loyal for years. There's something to fit everyone in the family.
