subject: The Gap Between Buyer and Seller Is Still Too Great [print this page] The Gap Between Buyer and Seller Is Still Too Great
I'm Dan Palomino with ColoradoDreamHouse.com in this week's market update for Denver, Colorado for the week of June 14. Okay, this week, I'm talking about the relationship between buyers and sellers.
About a year ago, I wrote in the Denver Post that the relationship between buyer and seller and the gap has never been greater. Well, a year later, unfortunately, I'm here to report that gap has not narrowed very much. Buyers still don't like sellers. Sellers still don't like buyers. There is arguing and haggling over two hundred dollars or five hundred dollars and it's just not a good relationship and the transactions aren't going smoothly.
Listen, word to the buyers. If you want to beat up the sellers, go right ahead, but just keep this one thing in mind and I'll eat my words if I'm wrong. There never has been and there never will be another time in history where prices are this low. If you can tell me another time in which you can go in and buy a house for 30%, 40% or 50% off, I'd like to hear it because it hasn't happened and it's not going to happen again. So just remember, when you're arguing over two or five hundred dollars, do remember that you are getting this house at a historically low price.
Alright, the home I want to highlight this week is 995 Long Bow Place in Larkspur, Colorado. Check this out! This is an absolutely amazing home. It's ten thousand square feet, never been lived in. The seller has around $6 million into this house and it's on the market for $3,950,000.00. But even more importantly, check out what the ever log system is and you can find out more information about this house on my website at ColoradoDreamHouse.com.
