Toyota has been going through a bit of a rough patch as of late, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Following the recalls and the subsequent debates it sparked, Toyota has done a great job of appealing to its loyalty base through targeted advertising that puts safety before everything else. Dealers of Kenosha used cars are breathing a sigh of relief, as the new marketing strategy has been very successful, both from the perspective of current customers and the public as a whole. Now, Toyota is able to focus a lot of its attention on pushing huge updates to already successful cars in its lineup, pulling further ahead of the pack in terms of overall quality. It's a great little addition to an already safe, efficient and practical lineup that leans on Lexus in terms of style, comfort and luxury. Still, sales of Round Lake used cars could always use a pick-me-up, and the updates included with the new 2011 Toyota Highlander are sure to help make the car a loyalist favorite over the coming years.
Our friends over at the AutoBlog talked about some of the updates that dealersof Kenosha used cars can expect to see in the Toyota Highlander as they acquire the car over the coming years. "Under the hood, the base 2.7-liter engine four-cylinder engine is now also available on the SE model, and it churns out 187 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque good enough for highway fuel economy figure of 25 miles per gallon. The uplevel 3.5-liter six-cylinder has been tuned to deliver 270 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque, but both the I4 and the V6 still make do with five-speed automatic transmissions. Interestingly, the Highlander Hybrid gets an all-new 3.5-liter V6 engine to replace the older 3.3-liter unit, and it's the most powerful powertrain in the range. The combined output of the new engine with the electric motor is 280 horsepower, yet the hybrid is expected to return 28 mpg in the city and on the highway." For Round Lake used cars, the future looks like it is going to be high-performing.
The technology inside the Highlander was due for a good refresh, and Toyota is responding by inputting some new gadgets you won't find in Kenosha used cars. Some of these new features include Bluetooth connectivity, a USB port and an XM radio, with some of these extra features still barely untapped in a tech-savvy driving market. We're also poised to see some extra room and a new interior configuration that benefits from three rows of seating and a little extra chutzpah from the heated front seats and power moon roof. Round Lake used cars are definitely due for a little upgrade in terms of luxury, and Toyota is setting up to deliver that upgrade and more. It's great to see Toyota chugging along with all the confusion that we've seen in the auto industry as of late, and I know that this writer will remain a loyalist to the brand.
