When the US Bar is Threatening
When the US Bar is Threatening

A life filled with numbers may naturally lead to a life where collecting and recalling some of them becomes a regular thing. For example, the United States' federal debt has now reached $8 trillion, averaging $28,000 for every family in America. Scary is a situation like this. What is worse is another number. Lawyers who are able to pass the bar in the United States have exceeded a million.

When it comes to a million lawyers, this has never happened before. Regardless of what civilization it is a million lawyers is just too many. But we cannot operate well in society without the presence of lawyers. From a multitude of cases we need to deal with there are defense attorneys, prosecution attorneys, patent lawyers, contract lawyers, and corporate lawyers. Regardless of how undermining or helpful they could be, the personal injury lawyers and class action lawyers are in a class by themselves.

Directly punishing people for the sins they commit is God and this is the strong belief of the religious people. It was thousands of years ago when a flood was sent by God that drowned all but Noah and a few. Sometime later, Egypt received seven plagues from God for holding the Jews in bondage. A number of people in Europe ended up as casualties of the black plague in the Middle Ages. It is the personal injury lawyers in the United States which is the epitome of all punishments ever to be experienced by mankind.

Personal injury lawyers are the people who sue businesses when people are injured. As an example, take a man to be referred to as BC as he went to Brooklyn hoping for some rest and relaxation time. Describing what hit him as massive boobs, BC recalled how he was hit on the head by one of the dancers as he was getting his R&R. Also causing contusions was the impact of these other than lacerations and bruising. Compensating for BC's indignity, emotional stress, and mental anguish was his lawyer's demand for $200,000. You could say that such emotional stress and mental anguish was experienced by BC after 57 inch bosoms hit him.

There was a Canadian in New York City who decided to go for some coffee at one of the popular Manhattan coffee shops. A visit to the toilet was also in order. While seated he tried to get some toilet paper for himself. Intense pain and suffering was felt by the Canadian as his manhood was pinned against the toilet bowl after his seat shifted unexpectedly. Two lawsuits resulted from this with the first one coming from his lawyer with a one million dollar demand for his injury and the second one coming from his wife amounting to $500,000 for the loss of his marital services. What is funny is that his wife values his manhood less than what he does.

There is nothing new in today's society where people do not admit to their faults. It was a man from Pensacola, Fla who decided to go drinking with friends. He had a lot of friends and did a lot of drinking before he got so drunk that he wandered off in the wee hours and passed out on the railroad tracks.

He instantly became a left hander after a train passed him by unexpectedly. What did he do now? Suing the railroad for negligent behavior, the man justified that he was sleeping on the tracks when they let a train pass. He managed to get $900,000.
