I did the first time today and was surprised by what he has done a great job!

Good .... but doesn't replace my mop
I have had this steamer now for several months and just cannot understand all the rave reviews. Yes, mine has worked fine for me; no messes with water all over the floor like some reviewers have experienced and the amount of time the mop lasts has been consistent and also sufficient for me to clean my kitchen and bathroom.
The major problem is that it is too large to get in small areas. It doesn't fit under low cabinets and in tight areas in small rooms such as the bathroom. If I use it to clean the floors then I also need to either handwash or get out the mop and do behind and around the toilet and under the low cabinets.
I bought this steamer to make cleaning easier but I find that I don't use it every week to clean the floors because I just don't have the time to do "double duty" with a mop and steamer. It only gets used sporadically when I have the time and even then I don't look forward to spending that much time cleaning floors.
It certainly hasn't replaced my mop!

Do not hesitate to buy this steamer. I read all the reviews and decided to try this one. It is very easy to use and does a great job. I was worried about using it on my hardwood floors, but it leaves less moisture than I was leaving with my wood cleaner and microfiber mop. I did not have an issue with extra water dripping out during my first use. I have only used it one time, so I can not speak about longevity of this product. It really does make cleaning go so much faster! One con is that the cord is a little short, but I have a lot of hardwood and it was not a big deal for me to move to a different outlet a couple of times.
Not a deep clean but a good clean and convenient to use

It's taken me a while to get the hang of using a steamer, but after a few tries, I'm liking this machine more and more. It doesn't deliver a deep clean like a good mopping would, but it's still a pretty good cleaner, and I don't have to drag around a heavy bucket of water.
A couple of things that I don't like:
*The cord is a little short. I have to unplug, then replug it in larger rooms.
*The "magic pads" shrank a little when I put them in the washer (on cold, line dried) They still fits the machine but just barely. I've sinced hand washed them, but they don't get as clean.
Just a note- I thought the steam would be visible, but it's not. I have to listen to the machine to know that it has begun steaming. It's not that big of a deal, but a light showing that's it's ready to use would be nice.
