Beef jerky I love more than anything else. I just hate to pay a high price to buy it. So I decided to give this to try to do at home. I've never seen beef jerky does not do the same. I marinated the meat in the evening I had my dehydrater mail, and use it the next day. Although it was my first time making jerky worked great! With this machine (and the instructions first practically everywhere), said that last up to 6-12 hours Beef Jerky. Mine cooked perfectly to 3 hours. This may be because I thinly sliced meat, but it turned out not to be thinner than normal size of the store bought bag. The car was quiet (it sounded like a computer fan), and each piece thoroughly cooked, but really not advisable to enter the meat. Everything went perfectly, and I plan to use this case much more in the future. I can not believe it was so easy to make the meat so much time in short bursts. I look no further than this product if your looking for a great dehydrater accessible.

I ordered the Nesco FD-75pr Dehydrator to help with my canning of my garden foods. So far I've made 4 batches of beef jerky, which has my family members raving(thumbs up). I've also made fruit jerky(or roll-ups)...mmmm...mmm..good. What a great investment this has been. Can't wait until canning season. :)

This is one of the best food dehydrators I have ever used. I would recommend this product to anyone who makes their own jerky. It does the job evenly and in a resonable time. Two thumbs up on this one.

Great Product for the Price
This is my first dehydrator and I simply love it. I researched several other products before deciding on this one and I could not be happier. The drying times are reasonable and I am going to order more of the jerky seasoning packets that came with the machine. The only negative is the lack of an on/off button which necessitates unplugging the machine or lifting up the lid while it is still running if you want to check on the drying process. A timer would've been nice too but, like someone else said, you can always buy a cheap timer. I don't have any other dehydrator experience to compare it to, but I am very happy with my selection!

My wife and I love the Nesco FD-75PR.... It does everything it is supposed to do. One thing we learned... the 5 trays that come with it are not enough. Another thing we learned, use your shopping skills and buy another one rather than trying to buy extra trays. You can get all the trays and the fun stuff, plus a new blower head for less than adding the trays.
