Is is possible for someone to get 8 pack abs? The answer to that question is yes, it is possible - but are you willing to work for it? Getting a 6 pack is hard enough, but getting an abs 8 pack is even harder. Here are some great tips that will get you on your way to that slim, washboard stomach you have always dreamed of having.
Tip #1 - Lose the belly fat by concentrating on the right exercises. One of the most common myths is that you can get a great looking tummy by working out your abdominal muscles every single day. This is false! By doing 1000 crunches or sit-ups your stomach will become strong, but it won't necessarily look great unless you have burned off the fat before hand. In fact, you may see the exact opposite of what you are going for - you stomach size may actually increase since your muscles will get bigger. The bottom line is that you need to do some major cardio and eat a health, balanced diet in order to get rid of that fat first.
Tip #2 - Don't give up. I know that doesn't sound like much of a tip, but it could very well be the most important one out there. How long did it take you to gain that big stomach? My guess is that it probably took you at least several months, and most likely years, to gain your weight. If so, don't expect to lose it in a few weeks. Fad diets, diet pills, and other 'too-good-to-be-true' methods just won't work long-term. Again, regular exercise and diet will get you there, you just have to be patient and realize that it will take some time (many cases longer than 6 months to a year).
Tip #3 - Work out correctly be focusing on quality versus quantity. You need to work your abs in order to have them get defined, but you need to work them properly. Performing 10-15 proper crunches can be more effective and less damaging to your body than even 50 crappy ones. Do them right, or don't do them at all.
You will be surprised at how many people don't follow these three simple steps for getting a great 8 pack. Don't be one of those people - stick with it and you will see results!
