Hello to one and all.
I hope that someone from this site might be able to tell me or point me in the right direction. The thing is that I am a single man from the north east of England, and I am looking to marry a lady that is in Lagos Nigeria. She is a Nigerian lady but I am a English man, so I do not know what paperwork I need to get allow me to marry a Nigerian lady. Not only do I need to know what paperwork I need, I also would like to know on how quick I would be able to marry ???
As I am going to Nigeria in August of 2011, and I will only be in Nigeria for just over one week, I would like to know if I can get the paperwork and also have time to marry in this time scale ???
I also would like to know any pitfalls that I might encounter, and do I need to grease palm's ;) Do I need a VISA to travel from England to Nigeria or am I OK with just my British Passport ? After I marry, will that make my wife a British subject ??? And will she get a British Passport. What do I need to do to be able to make it possible for my wife to be, to be able to come to England to live ???
Well like I have put before, I hope that I get some good help with the information I am looking for.
