Dating Tips for Guys - Getting Past the Fear of Rejection

Probably the biggest internal obstacle that a guy faces when he wants to become successful in his dating life, is overcoming the fear of rejection. This is a pretty universal fear that guys all over the world have to struggle with and deal with, and it really can hold you back from being able to finally date the kind of women that you secretly desire. See, even guys that appear to be confident around average women, usually have a hard time once they get around the prettier ones.

What can you do to overcome the fear of rejection so that it doesn't hold you back from dating the kind of women you want to?

It all starts out with limiting beliefs. See, most guys have a threshold of what kind of women they can attract, and as long as you believe it enough, it will be true. I can remember when I used to feel that way. Most pretty women that seemed like your average girl next door type I had no trouble with. Yet, the really hot women that I would see in the clubs, the women with the short skirts and the belly shirts, those were the ones that I did not think I could ever get.

To get past that, what I had to do and what works for most guys, is to just face the fear and push through it. And I can't lie, the first few times that I approached those kinds of women, it was not just a little intimidating, I also struck out pretty badly. But, I pushed on and eventually got to the point where it did not bother me to approach the hottest woman in a club. And when that happened, the way they reacted and responded changed as well.

Suddenly, I wasn't striking out as much.Well, how can this help you out?

Simply put, you need to face whatever fear about getting rejected and just push through it. Yes, it might suck the first few times and you might end up red faced and a little embarrassed, but over time, you will be conditioned to feel comfortable with approaching women, even the ones that you *thought* were out of your league.
