Having done a search and found an article on this site praising Golfstore18 I'm moved to post my own article here as I believe another post on this site incorrectly praises Golfstore18.

I do not think the original post is accurate as it wrongly portrays them in a good light.

I've recently been looking to replace a couple of my golf clubs. During a chat with some golfers at my local golf club, I told them of my intention to do so. One of the golfers told of a web site called Golfstore18. I was told of its fantastic prices and that they could not be beaten, so off I went to my computer to investigate. To my amazement I did indeed find that the prices were lower than that of any other I could find on the Internet.

I couldn't miss out on such a bargain, so I purchased two Ping clubs from Golfstore18.com. I purchased a Rapture V2 Driver and a Rapture V2 3 Wood.

Pleased that I'd saved myself lots of cash I let my golf Pro have a look at the clubs. The Pro is a Ping dealer. Unfortunately, he informed me that my new clubs were in fact just copies of Ping clubs. He compared my clubs to the ones that he had in his store. The difference was immediately obvious.

Feeling cheated I then contacted Ping direct to enquire about these clubs, only to find that one of the serial numbers belonged to different driver, that was of different spec, while the second serial didn't even exist.

I emailed Golfstore18 and told them I wanted to return these clubs and gave them the reason why I wanted to do so. I'm still waiting on Golfstore18 answering my email.

Be VERY aware of dealing with Golfstore18. Unless you are happy to accept inferior clubs that don't match up to proper spec of manufacturers clubs.
