When I was in my early 30s I suffered with terrible back pain problems. I tried just about everything and anything that I could to try to resolve the issue I was being faced with. When I say everything, i mean everything. I tried, chiropractors, i tried reflexology, I tried physio therapy and all sorts of other thing including daily exercises and stretches.
I would keep going back to my GP and personally I found their help not to be that helpful as no one could seem to make the pain go away.
I used to mainly suffer with the pain first think in the morning, generally around 5 am where the pain would actually wake me up and I just was unable to get rid of it. I actually thought that I was going to be like that for the rest of my entire life.
One time when I suffered with the back pain it lasted for around a month in total. I went back to my GP because I thought there must be something he could do or prescribe me. In fact there was, he prescribed me with some tramadol which is a very strong pain killer. It is almost equivalent to 2 x 500mg of paracetamol and 2 x 30 mg of cocodamol.
These tablets helped tremendously and I could not thank my GP enough for prescribing them to me. I got into a routine of taking one tablet every day, just before I went to bed and that kept me pain free all night so that I could enjoy my sleep once again, without the fear of waking up in agony.
I'm not writing this article to tell you that I have found a cure, because I haven't. But what I have found is an excellent pain killer that I would highly recommend to anyone, to discuss with their GP.
