MLM Recruiting Tips - Downline Multiplication vs Addition And Subtraction

With MLM recruiting, geometric progression is often touted, like where one turns into two turns into four turns into sixteen etc. 5 becomes 10 becomes 50 becomes 100, etc.

How does that happen?

In simple terms, with MLM recruiting it's just basic multiplication versus addition and subtraction.

If you have your "salesman" hat on while MLM recruiting, you would have to continually add new people (addition) to replace the people that dropped out the week before (subtraction) because there's no duplication (which would create multiplication.

Just try it on a calculator; if you keep multiplying numbers, regardless of how small how little, fairly quickly you will get to some large numbers - again it does not matter which numbers you multiply together, so long as they each are more than zero obviously (these numbers are supposed to represent a number of people). Now try to add those same numbers together instead of multiplying; you will be there a period of time and you will have to add together a lot more numbers - even without accounting for the subtraction factor!

Successful MLM recruiting is finding those leaders in depth, those leaders who will take off and run with it, and you have to sort through the numbers (multiplication) to discover them - there isn't any other way. You will recognize the leaders in your group as those who are constantly calling YOU and that is who you spend 80% of your time with.

When prospecting, remember that just because you can lead a horse to water doesn't mean you can force him to drink.

So don't chase anyone in your team - if your MLM recruiting is resulting in your having to do that, you are not working with the right people. Remember that just as you can't sign up 100% of the people you show your business to,, 80% of the ones who DO enroll with you are not your truly serious leaders. And that's ok, and make sure you're only spending twenty percent of your time working with them. (By the way if you're spending all your time trying to raise the dead, you're in the wrong profession for that...)

An MLM recruiting survey done a while ago revealed that Top Earners produce the large majority of their paychecks from just one to four people in their organization, on average. As few as one, as many as four. That's all. Startling and inspiring right? Yet most people never experience this kind of success because they don't go through enough numbers properly by working a duplicatable approach that the reps in their team can follow - the method which can turn your 1st month into a 5-figure month, with nearly no cost, and set you well on your way to financial independence!
