How to Stay Fit and Healthy with Near Zero Cost

When most people think of keeping fit or working out, they automatically presume that it is going to cost an absolute fortune visiting gyms and spending an even bigger fortune on food they they don't really want to eat. But you can keep fit, look and feel better with little to zero cost.

Here are just a few tips to help you get fit and healthy.

It sounds like an old clich, but it really is true. Walking is one of the best ways you can take exercise and lose weight, particularly if you are a couch potato or thinking about starting a regular exercise regime. Remember, just moving will burn unwanted calories and pounds around the 'love handle' area! You don't even have to spend any money to go for a walk.

Supplement your food with vitamins. If you are not a good eater, and if you just jump head first into a fitness program, then the chances are that you will deplete your body of its daily requirement of vitamins and minerals. This is why supplementing your diet with vitamins is a great idea. As a general guide (you should always check with a physician or doctor before taking any supplements) I would recommend starting supplementation by taking a multi-vitamin and vitamin B complex. On a personal note, I always take a multi-vit, B complex and also a cod liver supplement just to ease my joints.

You don't need weight loss potions or fancy diet tablets, which promise you the best body shape in history - they are usually a waste of your hard earned money. I am not saying that they are all a waste of time, mind you. But if you are considering taking them, please do your due diligence first before parting with any money.

Sleep is fundamental. You would be highly surprised if you slept a little longer each night. I know I was when I was stuck in a 'rut' and took the decision to make definitive and positive changes in my life some time ago. Getting to bed earlier and having thirty minutes to an hour extra sleep each night, made a huge difference to the way I felt. Something you should always remember, is that your body does all its repairing and healing while you are resting. If you go for a jog or take a workout in the gym, your body needs the rest time to actually do all that work any good. So start thinking about planning your day and night time!

It is sometimes very tough in this day and age, but when you can don't stress about too much unnecessary stuff. Stressing your mind will eventually have an impact on your health, how you feel and then how you look. Do you best not to over stress.
