Yes, we all have different opinion and approaches to situations and of course we all have our "perks", but can we live with someone that you want to share your life with a marriage for success or a marriage for failure.
A marriage grows from a relationship loving, caring, sharing, which evolved into an engagement.
I have two couples I will name them Lisa and John, Lori and Keith.
Lisa and John enjoy each other, they attend movies together with some compromising. Lisa likes romance and mystery, John likes action movies, in respect for each other and love they compromise and alternate the movies. However they both like jazz, country western, ballets, parks, animals children, family gatherings; they send messages to each other when apart, place romantic cards in special places and communicate regularly and are so excited about being engaged. They are making decisions together on the wedding.
Lori and Keith are engaged, they communicate semi weekly. Lori likes romantic, suspense movies, Keith likes war and action, neither compromise. Now what, they go to movies with friends or alone. Lori enjoys entertaining, going to five star restaurants, parks, ballets, symphonies. Keith thinks entertaining is waste of time, prefers to eat fast food or home cooking, however when coaxed he will go to restaurant, a ballet but argues or make mockery of the cost for several days. Keith likes sports, play video game, hang out with his buddies. Lori is not a sports fan but will look at the games and go to games with Keith, she is forbidden if his buddies want to attend a game; his excuse "you will stay something stupid that will embarrass me." Knowing his response, Lori stays away from the buddy crowd. He has verbalized sending messages, flowers is a waste of time "you know I love you, why would I ask you to marry me". Lori sincerely believe "opposites attract" and one day they will be in harmony, that is why she is able to make all the wedding plans.
