Product review: Keyword Discovery

Keyword Discovery has been there in the market for some time, yet the recent enhancements warrant a second look, hence a new keyword discovery review. With the new version, Trellian has improved previous functions to deliver better, more accurate results, and have added options that allow the user to better manipulate generated keyword lists. This is one tool which gives you the most comprehensive data available, allowing you to analyze your niche to the very last detail.

Keyword Discovery collects data from over 200 search engines, including Google, Yahoo, and MSN. That amount of data encompasses 36 billion searches. They offer keyword databases from eBay, Amazon, and other shopping sites, showing you products people want to buy. You can search keyword databases for specific countries. They can even show you data on searches from new sites like Google News and CNN. No other tool provides as much data as this does. The fact that Keyword Discovery uses multiple databases in its searches just means that when you look for something, you are getting the most comprehensive search results you can possibly get.

As with keyword elite software There is a permutation tool within Keyword Discovery that can help with brainstorming. By selecting the permutation database and entering a multiword phrase, Keyword Discovery will generate all the word combinations of the phrase with their search count. Usually, keyword tools aggregate search counts for phrases with different word orders together. In reality, however, the search popularity between phrases that use the same terms but arrange them in different word orders can varied. It isn't a tool, but a toolkit. There is a filter to import keyword lists and then perform replacements. You can also meta tag information from any URL. The only issue is that this tool does not automatically save the lists. The keyword density tool is also quite a nifty feature and although it isn't all that necessary to a lot of people, it can be used at times. The domain name search function allows you to quickly search for domain names containing keywords. You can't, however register using this tool.

The interface too is deceptively simple. Most keyword research services have lots of tools showing different features, not just a few text links across the top of the page. But Keyword Discovery is optimized for doing heavy duty keyword research. The combined speed and comprehensiveness of Keyword Discovery is astounding. It takes one of two seconds displaying over 1000 related keywords.

You get a lot of features but it is extremely expensive. The Enterprise API will almost set you back by about $4500. The cheaper options are quite good, but then you lose out on a whole lot of choices. Even so, you still pay about $50 per month. The question here is, no matter how much this software gives you, is it worth all that money? That completely depends on how well you want your site to succeed. If it's an absolutely critical site, one which would make you a lot of money, then you should subscribe to te best option you have. And Keyword Discovery is definitely it, without a shade of a doubt.
