The 60th Miss World was hold in Sanya China on October 30, 2010. Alexandria Mills beat Botswana's Emma Wareus into second place, while Venezuela's Adriana Vasini claimed third in the world's biggest beauty pageant. I was so excited when the host announced that the Miss World is Miss United States when watching live program on the Internet. Alexandria seemed more surprised than excided. She nearly cried out. After she wore the silver crown which matched her crisp white evening gown perfectly, she looked much more charming than usual.
I watched the whole journey with the beauties from all around the world. They visited a lot of countries and several wonderful places. In my opinion, although not every one could win a prize for themselves or their countries, all of them got a memorable experience. And they showed themselves to the whole world. They helped the people around the world to know more about their motherlands. It was a quite valued experience in their lifetime.
The Miss World journey is not only a good program for me to kill time, but also is a valued experience for me. I know more peoples around world throw this competition. It attracted me to go for a journey to China. The most important thing is that it made me want to be an elegant beauty.
In the past twenty four years, I preferred to be a tomboy. I preferred wear jeans from spring to winter. You could not find a dress in my wardrobe. I did not like shopping. I preferred to stay home. I never went to the party. And I was afraid to make friends with others. I found my life was so boring in the past twenty four years. Although Alexandria was not the most beautiful one of the world, she won the Miss World finally by her unique nice appearance and pure mind.
It was the time for me to make some changes. I need do some changes for myself. Maybe I could not be Alexandria to win the Miss World. But I could do the unique one in the world. First of all, I should buy some dresses for myself. I found a beautiful evening gown on http://www.dinodirect.com/celebrity-dresses/. But I could not make a decision to buy it because I need someone to give me some suggestions first. White is my favorite color. And I look more elegant when in white. But I did not know if the floor length dress is suitable for me since I am not quite tall.
Or I may choose the black strapless short cocktail evening dress for myself. This one is much shorter. It may make me looking taller. And I also like the lace trims on the top and the lovely bow in the front.
And I was not quite confident about my build. I do not want to spend a lot of money on buying useless things. And I never had such experience to buy a dress or an evening gown. Maybe I need to ask my friends for help. |They may help me to choose one from the two party dresses. Or they may find another wonderful one for me. Or is there somebody with kind heart will check it for me? If so, you will be highly appreciated.
It's a new start for me. I should go out for a journey. Sanya must be the first stop since it brought such wonderful expression to me. I wish I could be more confident in such evening gown and pumps. I can not wait to see the changes. I hope I could be elegant as the Miss World in the future.
