The Cotton ash paste is also effective to cure burns. You may simply take a bit of ash of burnt cotton and mix it with olive oil. Apply this to the affected skin area. This will give you immediate relief from a burning feeling.

Yogurt is also one. You may cover the affected area with it. It will give you a relief from pain and you may feel coolness.

You may also apply honey on the burnt area of your skin. It is known to have a quick heal and may hurt less. It is also known to lessen scars when the burn is healed.

The Lavender Oil is another essential oil to treat burns. You may gently apply it to the area of the burn. It heals burns quickly. It will decrease inflammation in your skin.

Internally taken, vitamin C promotes healing of wound by helping and aiding the body to produce strong collagen which is the base material for new skin. It is concluded that you eat natural food such as bell peppers, broccoli, leafy greens, berries, melons, potatoes and citrus fruits to help you heal burns from the inside and out.
