Most people have heard about the health risks associated with living in close vicinity of hydro power lines. This phenomenon is called "Geopathic Stress". It has also been referred to as the "Hartmann Grid", "Curry Lines", or "Water Veins".
The earth has a natural vibration. This is called the "Schumann Resonance". This is measured in hertz, and the actual value is 7.385 Hertz. When this natural resonance becomes distorted by weak electromagnetic fields, caused by subterranean running water, certain mineral deposits, fault lines and underground caverns, it becomes harmful to living organisms. Due to the numerous lakes and rivers, underground water veins and mineral concentrations, Canada and the USA have a high percentage of Geopathic Stress sufferers in their populations. Many people are incognizant that they have this condition.
Geopathic Stress has a compound effect over time. It slowly increases the frequency of your immune system. Some patients tested are in the range of 10.0 Hertz and higher. The normal range is 6-9 Hertz. Ideally, we should all be resonating at the same frequency as the earth's natural vibration, which is 7.385 Hertz. When your body reverberates at a higher frequency, your immune system becomes compromised.
Geopathic Stress confuses our natural vibrations and interferes with the body's ability to repair cells and combat disease. It also affects our ability to create new life. There is strong evidence that links geopathic stress with cancer, miscarriages, sleeping disorders, muscle and joint pain, chronic fatigue, depression, headaches, dizziness, tinnitus, difficult concentration, memory loss, irritability, anxiety, arthritis, asthma, migraines, infertility, liver and gall bladder disorders, multiple sclerosis, osteoarthritis, heart trouble, and ear, eye and teeth disorders.

Doctor Hartmann's Grid
A German doctor, Ernst Hartmann, discovered the Hartmann Grid. His experiences led him to write a 600 page report (Krankeit als Standort-problem, Heidelburg: K.F. Haug-Verlag). In his report, he stated that the first thing to be negatively affected was the immune system. Individuals who were placed in a geopathically disturbed area soon lost their ability to defend themselves against harmful bacteria, which they were previously able to withstand. He also stated that some diseases are a problem of location.
The Hartmann Grid consists of lines running around the earth, from north to south and from east to west. These lines extend to a height of 600 feet. The north/south lines appear approximately every 6 feet. The worst place to work or live is in a crossing of 2 or more of these lines. This grid can be identified on land by means of dowsing.
