"HOW HAIRDRESSERS COST YOU A FORTUNE"
Every time you visit a salon your hairdresser is going to talk you into having a colour and or a treatment, or selling you unnecessary expensive chemical based shampoos and products.
First lets start with shampoos. All chemical shampoos are too strong. By watering down your shampoo it changes it's texture from a honey like thickness to a more liquid fluid that will distribute through your hair more evenly and wash it more thoroughly. You will also make 4 bottles out of one. Most people over shampoo their hair which is not good for your scalp and it can cause itchiness and skin disorders. Also you are using excessive amounts of a non natural substance that only ends up down the drain.
COLOUR AND TREATMENTS
This is what is costing you a fortune. Most hairdressers will purposely over colour your hair by going more than 2 shades lighter or darker than your natural colour. This means you will be back within three tofour weeks as well as having a build up of colour that is damaging your hair and health. Remember, everytime you tint your hair it goes straight into your blood stream.
Treatments are like polyfiler, they coat the hair and only last until the next hair wash. If your hair is split, it will continue to split further up the hair shaft.
CUTTING AND BLOW DRYING
Unfortunately, the art of cutting is disappearing with most hairdressers doing basic hair cutting and they concentrate more on over blow waving and the use of straightening tongs that totally destroy your hair.In time this causes "traction alopecia". When you blow wave your hair by roundbrush and use straightening tongs you pull, stretch, weaken, split, singe and burn your hair. All of this is costing you dearly. By finding a hairdresser that is not financially driven and understands cutting and gentle drying, you will save a fortune and also save your hair.
I CUT HAIR INTO SHAPE -NOT BLOW WAVE BY ROUND BRUSH -INTO SHAPE
I must be the only haircutter that does not use a brush. I cut and blow wave by hand so your hair isshaped naturally. All the cuts you see on www.voihaircuts.com.au from the 1970's through to now, are all hand blow dried.
