At the end of April 2009 I had my second website created which was on a wordpress platform. I had a website built before but I didnt get any website traffic because back then I thought that if I had a website people would automatically just go to my site. It took a couple of years for me to realize that no one was visiting my site and I finally cancelled my website. After some research in early 2009, I met a great guy named Nate who had his web guy build me a website/ squeeze page. He gave some useful hints on how to drive traffic to my new site. I purchased my first SEO book in the summer of 2009. I learned alot about driving traffic to my site organically.The one thing that I learned is that it is very competitve to drive traffic via search engines. There are guys out there boasting how they can get you to the first page of google very fast. I have found that these guys must have been used car salesmen before they wereso called seo experts.I now have a number of websites which I am driving web traffic to. I am not driving as much trafficas I want to. I have found that the best way to drive traffic to my site is through craigslist. I dont like to use craigslist because craig limits the number of posts and if you exceed that number he cancelsyour account. If there is anybody out there who isa small business or individual trying to create a website to get more leads, I would be happy to give as much FREE information that I have. I just hate to see people waste money on some of these crooks out there. I have wasted alot of money on trying to drive website traffic to my squeeze pages and my wordpress blogs.
