Affiliate Article Marketing for People Who Hate Writing Articles

As an affiliate marketer, you need article marketing. Period.

Maintaining, running and operating an internet business cannot exist without them. They help keep your site updated, bring in incoming links, and can get you more website traffic.

But, for every need there is for an article, there are also folks who simply just hate writing them. They do take a lot of time and effort and in order to get quality traffic to your site, you need quality articles. So what are you supposed to do if you simply hate writing articles but deep down you know that you desperately need them?

Here are some tips to get you started:

Hire someone to write them for you. There are many places online such as Guru.com and Elance.com who have folks who are more than willing to write articles for you. You can simply give them the affiliate topic you want them to write about and then submit a project. The cost you'll incur depends greatly on the writer themselves. Obviously, the higher the quality of the article, and the amount you need the more you'll pay. Oftentimes the price can range from $2 an article all the way up to $20 an article. But the good news is, if you don't have the funds in your budget right now to hire a writer, there are other ways to go about it.

Use The Public Domain. There is plenty of content that you can use online and for free that resides within the public domain. Obviously you'll need to choose that content that's relevant to your business but one easy way to find these public domain articles you can use is to visit your favorite search engine and simply do a search on your topic plus "public domain". This will reveal to you a wide range of resources. The only downside is that there are already others who know about public domain and so many of your competitors may already be using content from these sources so be sure that when you do find a source, you re-write the article so that it's unique to you.

Let other people write for you. Like article directories where your article gets submitted and then you link back to your own site within the resource box, you can accomplish the same goal only this time, let others submit to your site. Set up an area on your blog that specifically asks for "guest bloggers" and then give them the criteria they need to follow in order to get content listed on your blog. A good rule of thumb is to check out some of their previous work first to be sure that your blog isn't open to just anyone. You want high-quality information submitted to your blog not some kind of spam. This works well all the way around. You get free content and they get a link back to their site. It's a win-win situation.

Locate some high quality PLR content. PLR or private-label-rights content can be anything from eBooks to articles. The writers of PLR content allow you to use that content as you see fit so you can take that content, re-write it a little bit to fit your own style and then use this as content. eBooks can be broken down into separate articles that you can then use on your own site as well (provided the PLR license gives the ok to do this).

So as you can tell, article marketing, especially for affiliates doesn't have to be all that difficult. It's just a matter of finding that content and making a few adjustments to it. While it doesn't alleviate all article writing work, it does free up your time quite a bit to focus on other areas of your business.
