Shimla State Museum
Taking a walk along the Mall, you would come across the Himachal State museum, a majestic building placed in the middle of open lawns.It has an excellent compilation of coins, pictures, local craft and other bits and pieces. The doll museum comprises of a group of Himachali bride and ethnic dolls and also some Pahari small painting are also significant and deserve a look.
Frequent dented and scratched sculptures from all over the state have been preserved here, like the 8th century stone descriptions from Masrur and Bajaura.
Christ Church in Shimla
The most well-known Structure on the Mall is the yellow Christ Church, supposed to be the second oldest church in northern India.
During the British raj Shimla used to be the summer capital and in those 76 years of reigning, a lot many officials and other noteworthy people of the British Raj came to the church for their Sunday morning prayers. During the season time the people used to throng in great numbers and space would be a big problem always.
Raj Bhawan
This building is to be found in the peaceful and a little deserted part of the town called Chhota Shimla and is the abode of the Governor of Himachal Pradesh. This huge sprawling building with half-timbered gables has a lovely ballroom designed and planned by Kipling's father, John Lockwood Kipling.

Tattapani is a pilgrimage centre too for the Hindus. The pious believe the month of Magha that is January-February favorable for a dip. It is assumed that by doing so, one can purify him and be free of one's sins.
