Jekyll and Hyde
Jekyll and Hyde

The strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde was a novel from the nineteenth century, written by Robert Louis Stevenson, It has become a classic among the literary circles, and documents the movements of a London lawyer who investigates the strange personality of his friend, Dr Jekyll. It is a vivid portrayal of a split personality, and sees the good and evil side of a person.

This term, Jekyll and Hyde' is now widely used to describe different personalities of people, or more importantly, the change that people can have. But recent research has suggested that the majority of brits undergo a personality change when they get behind the wheel, and become very aggressive. In fact, nearly two thirds of us take greater risks, while thirty nine percent of us become more cautious and shy when embarking on a drive.

The study revealed none different personality traits when driving, including the snail; who annoys other road users by crawling along and driving to cautiously, and the racer, who speeds around and overtakes in built up areas, causing danger to children and pedestrians.

Men were found to be twice as likely to ignore red lights when there were no other road users around, particularly late at night, in comparison to women, and young drivers were found to be the most aggressive on the roads.

Car Insurance companies recommend taking stock of the way in which you drive, and keeping a good distance from the car in front to avoid accidents.
