RansenScan is a program which will speed up the scanning of your old photo or postcard collections. Its quick and easy interface means that you select, correct and save images in seconds, not minutes!
If the "sub images" are well separated RansenScan will create a list of sub images to the right of the main scanned image, as you can see above. Then you can rotate, brighten, crop etc each sub image individually.
When you are happy with your sub image you can save it, copy it to the clipboard, or print it.
Scanning collections of old photos can take a long long time! I know, I've done it. First scanners these days don't seem to have taken into account the strange page sizes of old photograph albums, then the software supplied is not suited for quickly selecting sub images and saving the separately from the the main scanned image.

I decided that was was needed was something which helps me in this very specific job, and here is a graphical idea of it (forgive the low quality graphics, this is to speed up the internet connection as you read this).
So the idea is that you put a lot of images within one scan and then extract them one by one, then save them one by one with their own descriptive names.
