Wikipedia Allegedly Confirms Mugabe Cuckold Rumours

I was looking around the web for any interesting articles when I stumbled upon an item about the alleged affair between one Grace Marufu Mugabe and the country's Reserve Bank boss Gideon Gono.

What surprised me was not so much about the article, because I consider sex between two consenting adults to be their own business. What amazed me was that Wikipedia was reporting the affair as a fact. A fact? That a president has been cuckolded might be hot news, but a rumour cannot be a fact, until denied' and I have not yet heard about any official denial of the affair.

It is none of my business whether Grace slept with Gono, but it is my business to know whether what I read in Wikipedia is factual or not. But it behoves me to state some facts about the alleged affair.

Mr Gono has, allegedly, built a house much bigger than that of the president. It is more spacious and more luxurious than that of the president.

Now, if the president was a democrat, that wouldn't be news. But having a bigger house than the president, yet you are only a civil servant presumably earning less than him. That is very unusual.

It takes me back to the alleged affair'. The president's wife has the president's ear. And a civil servant' she is alleged' to be having an affair with happens to live in more luxurious environment than the president.

It has also been alleged that the president's wife and , once again, her alleged' lover have been to Hong Kong together, allegedly seven times in five years.

That may be a coincidence. The degree of probability required for coincidences' to become facts' is quite high when so much is at stake: political power can be lost when a leader becomes an object of ridicule.

So where is the truth? What will eventually happen, or not happen, to Gideon Gono will answer that question.
