subject: My Naked Photos are Googled ! [print this page] My Naked Photos are Googled ! My Naked Photos are Googled !
A few days ago when I was wondering on the internet, all of a sudden I saw my own naked pictures which I don't even know who took them. I checked the pictures and I contacted the website owner, the staff there replied that the pictures are uploaded and it is a non-profit site, so I don't have authority to ask them to move the pictures. I was shocked that I can't defend my own image right. Later I contacted the BBB and they handled the issue. Have you guys encountered this kind of situation that your privacy was leaked?
The leakage of personal profile and information has been a headache for the Internet Guard. We use the internet everyday and we have to register on many websites like EBay, Amazon and Wikipedia. For sure we enjoyed the convenience of online shopping and save us a lot of time and energy. But after that how the website owner are taking advantage of our information, that's a big problem. There are many examples that many customers' credit card information were leaked and those hackers use the information to place orders online. It is too late when the fraud is defected because the seller has already shipped out the package. How can we protect ourselves never being frauded? You may never shop online, but you can't admit that there is trend that people are intending to purchase online.
Several Tips from My Experience
1. To protect your privacy you need to be more alert about any surprise like you won a lottery which you have never bought one. Never take the chance because there would be no prize without a price.
2. Think twice when you are purchasing online, check the website carefully before order. You may trust those sites like EBay, Amazon and http://www.dinodirect.com/ .These sites are of good reputation and warranty.
3. Keep an eye on your PayPal and credit card email because they will inform you the payment of every order. That's your virtual purse, so hold it tight!
4.Don't register on every site unless you will use it very often, there might be endless emails to your email box. Save some space for other more important things.
I like to purchase online and that might be the reason my privacy was leaked, hope my experience can help you avoid any incontinences.
