Concerts coming to Sydney
Concerts coming to Sydney

The land Down Under has become a popular touring ground for some of music's biggest names, and this December, Sydney stages are set to come alive with the famed music of U2, Bon Jovi, and the Eagles. With concerts scheduled for Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney, each major act promises to deliver memorable shows these rock entertainment kings won't disappoint in delivering amazing music spectacles!

- U2, December 13& 14, ANZ Stadium. Anthems, ballads and unrelentingly melodic guitar hooks will pummel the ANZ Stadium in Sydney on December 13th and 14th. Although Bono recently underwent back surgery, the band's unparalleled musical chops and haunting rhythms are going ahead with the sun-shade wearing international man of statesmanship and clever lyricism at the fore. While you shouldn't expect Bono to remove his shades he now has an eye condition which makes it difficult to see without them he'll be belting out the songs that have shaped international radio playlists for the past thirty years.

- The Eagles, December 2, Sydney Entertainment Centre. December 6, Acer Arena. The Eagles, who have been touring the world for close to four decades, are known internationally for their hits such as "Hotel California." Fronted by iconic leader Don Henley, the band's decision to once again tour Australia was prompted by incredibly enthusiastic audiences during their 2004 world tour. On December 2nd the band will play the Sydney Entertainment Center, while on December 6th they'll do a show at Sydney's Acer Arena.

- Bon Jovi, December 17-19, Sydney Football Stadium. Bon Jovi has also caught the Australian touring bug, and will be in Sydney at the Football Stadium from December 17th through the 19th. This band is always wanted, whether they're "Dead or Alive." More to the point, Bon Jovi's irresistible showmanship and stagecraft has moulded the band's performance into a truly memorable experience refined over a nearly thirty year career.

If you're visiting Sydney to catch one of these sellout performances, then there is a variety of accommodation in Sydney to choose from. Whether you want the caviar and champagne treatment of a rocks star or more humble Sydney accommodation, there's something to suit all tastes and budgets. Who knows you might even be in the same hotel as U2, The Eagles or Bon Jovi!
