The questions is rather, where do you start? And what do you need to think about?

To start with, we have both Point and Shoot Camera and the DSLR camera. Where as the point and shoot camera is the more affordable one, but with a reduced flexibility and lens. The DSLR camera got a larged lens with a higher flexibility regarding the settings.

In this article we'll be talking about the hard task of getting yourself started using the digital Point and Shoot Camera.

Telling you which digital camera to use isn't an easy task as what I tell you to use today could possibly be obsolete by tomorrow. So I would rather like to suggest, assuming you haven't bought yourself a camera already, that you look around at the cameras that's the new cameras today. look for a high mega-pixel that suits you. And be sure that it have all the functions you'll need, by my experience most of them do.

Then, with your camera in your possession you're probably thinking about where you should start. And to answer simply: "read the manual". The best way to get started is just by reading the manual.

Once you're done reading the manual, you'll be ready to go, right? You've learned all you could. You're a master! Or not. Well, none of us where. Get out there and try that camera out!

Some things to keep in mind as you go

Be careful about ISO, it'll have a huge impact on the quality of your photograph.

Don't be afraid to bring that camera and take that photo, no mater what. That is one of the most important things in shooting the greatest pictures.

Keep in mind when you take those pictures what you're trying to shoot. But overding it, you'll lose the feeling of your pictures.

And most importantly. Enjoy yourself.
