Good guys and the term boring seem to go hand in hand. The nice guy is just that... nice. He doesn't have any sense of adventure or craziness going on which can make him seem boring even if he thinks he's not. They also tend to have a lower confidence level than bad boys when it comes to attracting girls, impressing girls, socializing, and so on. They will often say the wrong thing when talking to a girl and turn her off completely. They are not as loud or 'manly' as bad boys which takes the typical man role of protector away and replaces it with the you protect me role.
Bad boys provide some sort of excitement and mystery that girls seem to really crave from men. They say the right things that women can't resist and they have the right moves that women all want. They have high confidence in themselves and the way they act. They can even be cocky and arrogant and still get the girl a lot of times just because of their confidence in themselves. But they also come with hurt, anger, and regret that a good guy wouldn't give a girl. So the perfect guy really lies in the middle of that.
A good guy who isn't boring.
Most women see the extreme ends of guys when looking for someone. There is very rarely a guy who has the caring and compassion of a nice guy but the unknown and thrill of a bad boy with a hint of knowing what the women wants to hear and have. But believe me when women find those guys they eat them up!
I firmly believe that confidence in yourself is the biggest turn on to women and it's what those bad boys have that nice guys seem to lack. I'm not talking about an arrogant confidence or an egotistic confidence but rather a humble knowing and easiness about the way you do things.
A lot of good guys have confidence in their abilities at work or home and almost go overboard in that area sometimes but forget about the rest of it.
I'm talking about confidence in life; In living life. Confidence to go out and get what you want and know that you deserve it. Confidence that you have more to offer than some jerk that treats his girl disrespectful and inappropriately.
Remember that being nice is not what makes the guy finish last. It's being nice and boring.
