Internet icon Gary Vaynerchuk recently published a short book called "Crush It!". In it he relates the story of how he built a multi-million dollar income stream reviewing wines in short video episodes online.
His message goes well beyond his personal story. Gary dispels the myth that building an internet business is easy - in fact he tells about how he worked incredibly hard to not only produce great videos but also market and promote his brand online.
You see there are two kinds of people in business - those who have the will to take relentless continuous action, and those who act in small dribbles. Those who are willing to "take risks" and "take action" succeed. The others fade quickly.
So which kind of person are you? Are you willing to work hard to succeed? Will you "Crush it!"?
The business model I use to make money online, and the one I advocate in my training products is a passive income model - where you put the work in up front and reap the rewards of a passive income stream later.
It requires you to "Crush it" first, to build the lifestyle you deserve. This does not mean 80 hours of work a week, but it does mean a half hour to hour a day, every single day, without fail.
The persistence pays off in the long run, but only if you have the persistence to stay with it. I meet a lot of people who want to earn easy money online but most abandon their work in a few weeks or months.
