Select the correct cars account
Cars.co.za has two account options. Theprivate seller account is designed for the needs of the average person who is trying to privately sell cars. This is very different from thecar dealer account which is tailored forcar dealers. Selecting the correct account is the first step in thecar sale process.
Register for your cars account
Registration is easy. Simply click on the register link for thecars account that you have chosen. Both will direct you to a simple submission form where you can specify your account details.
Activate your cars account
After registration, an activation email will be sent to your email address, simple follow the instructions on the email to activate yourcars account.
Login to your cars account
Once yourcars account has been succesfully activated, log in to the account with the email address and password you specified in your registration form.
List your car for sale
Using the menu system provided upon login, click onSell car, this will direct you to a form where you can enter the specifics of thecars for sale. Simply fill in this form and submit.
Activate your vehicle
A page will now pop up displaying thecar advert you have entered, if all the information is correct, simply click the activate link and yourcar will be listed on our site. If there are errors, click de-activate and you can edit yourused carto fix the problem.
