When your body becomes resistance against insulin you feel more likely to develop type 2 diabetes. These fat cells may also produce estrogen, which in a menopausal woman can increase your chances of breast cancer.
There are ways to fight against the battle of the bulge and they include exercise, strength training and diet. But with so many opinions on each of these subjects it is tough to know where to start.
