My Wife Doesn't Want to Spend Time with Me How to Change This Now

"My wife doesn't want to spend time with me," said the confused husband. It's how you're feeling right now, isn't it? Your wife is avoiding you. It feels as though she's doing whatever she can to not be with you. Obviously, it's going to have an impact on how you feel about her and yourself. How could it not? If the person you adore most in the world just doesn't want to put in the effort to spend any quality time with you anymore, what does that say about the relationship? You need to change this. You have the ability to do it. All you need is some insight into how to shift your wife's feelings so she craves to be with you again.

There's a reason why your wife doesn't want to spend time with you anymore. In many cases this happens because the couple is struggling with a conflict that they can't seem to find a resolution for. Women tend to absorb things like this on a much deeper level than men do. If you two had a disagreement and you now feel that it's in the past, don't assume that your wife feels the same way. She may be holding onto some resentment from it and that could very well be causing her to create distance between the two of you. If her change in attitude happened right around the time you two started debating a heated subject, it may be time to give in and apologize to her.

Your wife may also be avoiding spending time with you because you two have lost touch emotionally with one another. If you never talk about the relationship and what is going on with your partnership she may feel very distant from you. Instead of merely sitting on the couch watching television while she's in the room, plan time for the two of you to just talk. It doesn't have to be a serious talk each and every time. Reconnect with her by talking about her work, her concerns and how she views your marriage.

It's also very helpful if you plan on doing things that your wife really enjoys. If there are activities that she participates in and you shy away from, it's time to change that. By engaging with her in her interests, you are showing her that you'd do anything just to spend time with her. She needs and wants to feel that from you. It's a simple change that can make a huge difference in your marriage.
