Paper is an important tool to communication and self-expression. It plays a vital role in our social progress and civilization.

In every known industry in the world, there is the need for paper. Architecture and engineering could not clearly execute their plans without putting it in black and while. Laws and other important medical breakthroughs are printed to durable and high quality paper in order to pass on these vital pieces of information from generation to generation. And stating the obvious, communication or getting our message across is hard without paper.

Paper is the lifeblood of every civilization. It is in paper that our history and written and will be written. It is also through paper that most meaningful partnerships and friendships are forged. The concepts of paper and card making are two inseparable concepts because basically you can't make a card without a paper. There are many kinds of paper in the book and paper stores. All of which could actually be used for card making, depending of course on the kind of output that you would want to deliver.

But for some professional card makers or for those who are already considering card making as their hobby, most of them would rely on specialty papers.
