If you want to overcome the law of sin and death, the law of failure, the law of frustration, the law of stagnation you have to engage the laws of the spirit, to suspend and overcome the law of sin and death. Why? Because the law of the spirit is higher that the law of sin and death. If you want to be up you have to engage the law that takes you up.
The law of faith: faith is one of the most vital laws of the spirit that cheaply suspends the law of sin and death. By faith Enoch walked with God and was translated (Genesis 5:24). Before his translation he has this testimony that he please God. But without faith it's impossible to please God *hebrews11: 6). Faith is it. Then we saw another giant of faith called Elijah. You remember the bible said he prayed earnestly that it should not rain and there was no rain and he prayed again that it should rain and it rains. (James 5:17-18). That was faith at work because prayer is only answered by faith. So faith is a spiritual law that launches one into the realm of unlimited breakthroughs and possibilities (mark11: 23). I believe thereof that the law of faith is the key to all supernatural breakthroughs. In Luke 5:5, Jesus spoke to Simon to cast is net to the deep for a catch. Peter said, "We have labored all night and have taken nothing, nevertheless at thy word..." As they put the word to work (which is called faith) believing, they had a great catch. There was an unusual breakthrough---net-breaking, boat-sinking dimension of breakthrough.
Channels of operation of the law of faith:
The Heart: In the operation of the law of faith, the heart is the first channel of operation. With the heart man believe unto righteousness. Faith is always within. In Matthew 9:21, the woman with the issue of blood said within her, "if I may but touch the hem of his garment, I shall be whole." its a heart affair! What you say draw strength from what you believe. Its what you believe that empowers what you say. It's the faith in your heart that sets what you say on fire. He said you shall have whatsoever you say (mark11: 23).
2:The mouth: Through faith we understand that the world were framed by the word of God (Hebrews 11:3) when faith is at work within, every word spoken outside becomes creative. Faith can never deliver what you are not able to say. Until you say it God will not confirm it. You must make use of your mouth.
3:Your Actions: In James 2:14-24, we saw the faith of Abraham validated by his actions. Men of faith are men of corresponding action. When your actions are contrary to what you say you believe, your faith is void and cannot produce result. Show me your faith without your actions, and I will show you my faith by my actions. So God weighs your actions in determining his manifestation (1samuel2: 3)
4: Public Arena: This is where many people fail. What ever you are ashamed to stand by in public, God will never be committed to confirm it in your life. If you are ashamed of God, He will be ashamed of you (Matthew 10:32-33).
Sources for building a strong Ever-winning faith:
1. Through the ministry of the word: Through studies, faith comes alive by the help of the Holy Spirit, and shame is averted (2Timothy 2:15). Through your commitment to personal word study, your faith is built.
2. Through the ministry of anointed teachers: There are anointed teachers that help in building your faith, by opening your eyes to seeing the things that you would not have been able to see on your own (Job 33:23-24).
3. Through the ministry of testimonies: testimonies are faith boosters (revelation 12:11). Testimonies illuminate and enlighten you to see what you would not have seen in the word of God.
4. Through the ministry of prophets: This is where the spirit of faith is imparted and ignited, and then set on fire for impact and results (Romans 1:11) The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha (2kings 2:15) The spirit of faith that was at work in the life of Elijah was resting upon Elisha, producing the same effect.
What it takes for your faith to fly:
1. Spirituality: Faith is a spiritual force; it will only deliver in the hand of the spiritual person. That's why he said: to be spiritually minded is life and peace, and to be carnally minded is death (Romans 8:6)
2. Word practice: It is word practice that makes faith to produce (psalm 84:7). Through your commitment to personal word ministry, your faith is built like I said earlier.
3. Good conscience: faith delivers on a goodly conscience (acts 24:16, 1 timothy 3:9).
4. Absolute dependency on God: Our God is a jealous God, who will not share is glory with any man or any graven image. Any alternative weakens and paralyzes your faith. Its either absolute dependency on God or your faith is fake. Jesus is lord
