SEAT UK's sales continue to grow at an astonishing pace, even during the recession it has gained market share, to the end of September 2010 its market share was around the 1.6% mark.
The fact that SEAT has been able to buck the trend and increase its sales has turned the Spanish car maker into hot property among ambitious dealers, and dealer groups, keen to capitalise on the brand's attractive array of sporty, great value models.
Another attractive proposition for dealers is the SEAT Mania initiative which supports dealers in refreshing their showrooms to introduce a dash more 'auto emocion'. The Mania initiative also helps in expansion, renewal and enhancement of the almost 130-strong dealer network.
To help create the perfect showroom experience, in SEAT style, SEAT Mania offers packages of bespoke furniture, artwork and wall coverings that are tailored to the individual needs of its dealerships. To help the dealership in this transformation a brand designer helps each dealer principal select the package that best suits their showroom and then SEAT UK makes a significant contribution to the cost of the redesign, materials and furniture.
So far over 50% of the dealer network has embraced the Marina initiative including a SEAT dealer in London. SEAT intends to have the remaining dealers overhauled by 2011. Richard Harrison, Head of Operations at SEAT UK was very happy with the uptake of the initiative and said, "the feedback we've had around the Mania programme has been excellent with many dealers commenting that staff and customers alike love the fresh new look."
