With a list you will have many more opportunities to get your marketing message in front of them as well as more than one product promotions. But remember, the more targeted your email list is, the higher returns you will get. The usual approach with list building is to make an offer of something for free, like a report or video, in order to get subscribers. Apart from that, you can become creative and offer a unique or a valuable bribe such as a video course through email. One important point here is that your freebie needs to be relevant to your market as well as your product/service. Value and trust are critical, and they need to value your content and begin to trust you otherwise it just won't work.

Another aspect of good affiliate marketing is to steer more toward quality rather than quantity in whatever you do. Of course one of the things we're speaking about is the quality of the products you promote.
