Most people are used to having to speak in public these days. Still that doesn't mean that they don't feel anxious or insecure while speaking in front of an audience.
In this article I want to show you 3 steps to become a better speaker in no time.
Start Training Each Day
If you don't do any sport then you won't be able to do certain things. There are some people that just go jogging once or twice a week. These are the people that don't get better or that just keep their level of performance. Then there are the last kind of people that train every day even if they only run for 30 minutes.
Believe me you want to be the latter one. The same applies to public speaking. If you want to sharpen your skills then you definitely need to train on a daily basis. It will be much more worth while because you don't have times where aren't training at all.
A good way to organize your training would be to use a schedule. You could have different things planned on it. For example on day you might just visit your public speaking coach. The other day you might watch videos from professional speakers and thus study them.
Get a Coach
As I've mentioned above a coach is a good way to become a better speaker. If you know someone who is a good public speaker then you might just simply ask him to coach you.
A coach can help you correct mistakes that you never even noticed. That's because you always look at yourself and your performance subjectively. An outsider, like your coach, will see it completely different. That's why getting a coach can be extremely useful.
Imagine Yourself Succeeding
Imaging yourself succeeding can be extremely useful if you want to become a better public speaker. There are numerous studies that have shown that simply imaging that you are a better speaker will also make you better.
That's why I recommend that before you go to bed you simply imagine yourself delivering a successful presentation. Imagine your whole presentation, how confident you were, how interested your listeners were etc.
