Intestinal actions within the human body
To begin with lets look at how the entire body deals with a specific area. We will need to look within the area of how the body processes foods. To thoroughly clarify this process would take forever, so I have tried to break it down into a couple of steps. Glucose is produced when the body digests food. Glucose is a sugar that is fuel for the body. This fuel then enters into the blood stream. This is how it gets around the body. Obviously just moving around the body is not the end of the job. Imagine a car, you dont want be stuck on the expressway, you need to come off at some stage. To make any use of this fuel we need to get it to the areas that will turn it into energy. Areas like muscles orLiver cells etc. Introducing the one and only - INSULIN. This little wonder hormone is produced by the Pancreas. Now thats handy. Now the muscles, liver cells etc that are crying out for fuel to produce energy has insulin to thank for transferring the fuel from the bloodstream to them. Now the fuel can be used where it is needed and not just stuck in the blood stream.
Diabetics
A few of these vital processes can be flawed in Diabetics. Either the pancreas produces no, or too little insulin or their body has a resistance to the insulin. This is the main reason why diabetics have high blood sugar levels. The sugar is in the blood and not in the areas that needs it for fuel. No fuel, no energy. This is when complications occur.
Just what various types of Diabetes are there
There are 3 Varieties of Diabetes. Some a lot more severe in comparison with others,Type 1 - This kind of form of diabetes is commonly diagnosed when you are a youngster (I say commonly but in fact it can be diagnosed much later in life too) and is where the body does not generate any, or very little, insulin. The most extreme form of diabetes. Insulin has to be injected each day. No-one knows what leads to type 1 diabetes. Folks have researched it for hundreds of years and we are still no closer to the truth. Genetic makeup, auto immune system even virus have been banded about. The truth is we do not understand yet.
Type 2 diabetes. This is a lot more typical than type 1 diabetes. Generally in maturity. Type 2 diabetes is frequently where the individuals body has developed a opposition to insulin. It prevents it doing its work correctly. The exchange of blood sugar does not happen at all or sufficient. This can go undiscovered for many years. Some people can have type 2 diabetes and not actually realize it.
Gestational Diabetes is the last type. Prevalent in pregnant women who have had no track record of any other form of diabetes mellitus. This is very stressing for the pregnant new mother as it arrives at a period when she will probably feel she needs to be at her healthiest. The fact of the matter is that the being pregnant is really causing the problem. Insulin is blocked (or reduced) by her homones to divert to the growing baby. This causes a deficiency in her own body.
