Reports say that Scott Cully will carve largest pumpkin in the world at The New York Botanical Garden. Scott Cully currently holds the Guinness World Record for carving the largest pumpkin. He will attempt to break his own record starting October 29, 2010 for carving this new largest pumpkin of the world. Scott Cully will take two days to carve the gargantuan pumpkin, going at a pace of 100 pounds per hour!

The other three winning pumpkins from regional weigh-offs across the United States, each weigh over 1,600 pounds. The three huge pumpkins along with the new world record holder will remain on display through October 31, 2010, at The New York Botanical Garden. The record breaker largest pumpkin of the world is grown by Chris Stevens from New Richmond, Wisconsin. It weighs an unbelievable 1,810.5 pounds, which is more than any other pumpkin ever recorded. The other two giant pumpkins on display at the Botanical Garden include one grown by Ken Sweet from Washington, Michigan, which tied the old record at 1,725 pounds, and one weighing 1,674.5 pounds, grown by Steve Connolly from Sharon, Massachusetts. However, the current records seem hard to be broken for a long time. People from neighboring cities and also visitors from around the globe are flocking in the Botanical Gardens, New York to take picture with the biggest "Halloween star" Pumpkin ever.
