For many start up business owners, and Internet marketers in particular, it is necessary to recognise that success comes with time, effort, and consistent input of effort.
It is not about a one night wonder, and overnight riches.
Whilst it is possible, I'd prefer to remain consistent, methodical, and steady in my application, and recommend the same for you. Success in business is about the long term, and steady growth and development.
What do I mean here?
Well, quite simply, whilst it is possible to make a boat load of money and income in ashort while for some people, possibly by a stroke of luck, it is more reliable to suggest that you will continue to grow your business, a little more slowly, but the key word here, is steadily.
I have seen it many time before, where someone is super hyped up, and as soon as they hit the first hurdle, their dreams come tumbling down, and they quit. This is indicative of several things, specifically that the dream, or goal is not as strong as it should be.
How much do you want success?
Are you prepared to work for it?
Are you prepared to give up the TV for it?
Are you prepared to sleep a little less each night, and work an extra hour or two?
I ask these questions, as it is often not a great deal more that is needed to break through.
I have seen many people give up unnecessarily, and when they were so close as well.
Further, it is often only a little extra that you need to do, that the majority are not prepared to do, that will separate you from the crowd.
I say all of the above, as internet marketing is about creating value, and staying consistent.
For example, I write a blog post at least every day, and sometimes more often.
By doing a half hour work per day, to add to my blog, is adding more pages to my site, and creating more back links. The search engines love it, and after a year, there are over 365 links back to my various sites. At first, this may not seam like much, but after a year, the results are more noticeable.
The same applies to article writing. I write articles regularly, whilst it does not create a huge impact at first, the articles written, remain in force indefinitely, and the results pay off after a few months, and years.
My friends, I encourage you to genuinely plan, and work methodically at this, as your efforts will be multiplied, many times over, over the course of time.
