A massive storm is heading through the middle part of the country with tornadoes being reported in Tennessee, Indianapolis and the Chicago area. Weather radar reports strong gusts of wind combined with severe thunderstorms for which the National Weather Service has issued several warnings.

Tornado warnings have been issued all morning across the midwest including in the Tennessee Valley, Indiana and Chicago areas. Michigan and Ohio have also been included in the latest tornado warnings posted.
Thousands of home owners are without power due to the massive storm barreling through the areas of Illinois and Wisconsin.
Reports out of the Chicago area have indicated that telephone poles have been downed as well as a roof being ripped off a house due to the high winds.
A reported tornado touched down at Highway 11 and South Oaks Road in Sturtevant, while another report says the tornado touched down near 21st Street and Green Bay. There have been reports of severe damage to homes and businesses in the area, and many people are currently without power. The Case Corp building reportedly had a 100 to 200 foot section of its roof ripped off. There are no reports of any injuries at this time, but other parts of the state have reported downed trees and power lines.
Other tornadoes have been reported in eastern Illinois and western Kentucky, and the National Weather Service has issued multiple warnings and watches.
